  Job Description:

  The main "VMC Machining Execution Lead, Precision Component Specialist, Dimensional Tolerance Guardian, Tool Wear Lead & Shop-Floor Integration Lead" in each of our manufacturing facilities is the VMC Operator Vertical Machining Center Operation, Part Loading, Tool Wear Monitoring, In-Process Inspection & Operational Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to safely load, set up, operate, monitor, and maintain Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) in order to produce precision components, while Machine Shop Managers, Tool Room Engineers, CNC/VMC Programmers, and Production Planning Leads set overall production targets, cycle times, component tolerances, and job dispatch schedules.

   

  Key Skills: 

  VMC Machine Operation & Vertical Machining Mastery: Practical experience using 3-axis and 4-axis Vertical Machining Centers.

  Advanced proficiency in reading mechanical engineering drawings, comprehending GD&T symbols, and using precision measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges) for in-process quality assurance are all examples of blueprint reading and precision metrology expertise.

  Basic G-Code Understanding & Wear Offset Capability: The capacity to read G-code/M-code program lines, correct tool wear offsets, modify work coordinate systems, and identify possible machine collision risks.

  Workshop discipline and industrial safety include strict adherence to shop-floor 5S standards, machine safety door interlocks, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations.
