  Responsibilities:

  Insurance Follow-Up & Outstanding Claims Resolution: Make daily outgoing calls to US healthcare insurance providers to enquire about the status of unpaid, pending, or underpaid medical claims.

  Denial Management & Root-Cause Investigation: Examine claim denials and rejections; determine the underlying causes, such as eligibility problems, missing authorisation, COB, medical necessity, or coding errors; and take prompt remedial action.

  Preparing and Resubmitting Appeals Execution: To obtain claim reversals, draft and submit strong formal claim appeals, medical necessity letters, and reconsiderations along with accompanying clinical documentation.

  EOB/ERA Auditing & Action Item Logging: Accurately record comprehensive account notes and action codes into Practice Management systems; examine EOBs and ERAs to confirm accurate contractual allowances, write-offs, deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance details.

  HIPAA Compliance & Payer Policy Adherence: Adhere strictly to state and federal healthcare billing rules, individual payer filing deadlines, PHI protection standards, and HIPAA data privacy restrictions.
