  Responsibilities:

  Parametric 3D Modelling and Design Formulation: Within PTC Creo Parametric, you can create strong, cleanly constrained, and fully parameterised 3D component models for cast, forged, sheet metal, or injection-molded domains.

  Top-Down Assembly Architecture: To enforce methodical top-down configuration control, structure and construct intricate multi-level mechanism models employing skeleton models, publication elements, and external copy geometry characteristics.

  Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis: Perform linear and 2D manual and automated tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure absolute part fitting clearances even under significant production variances.

  Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Validation: Compare model parameters to tooling limits, such as casting draft angles, stamping radii constraints, wall thickness uniformity, and standard tool clearance gaps.

  Engineering Change Order Execution: Use formal modification workflows to oversee design engineering changes. This includes updating legacy drawings, documenting master model change lines, and methodically modifying CAD geometry.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Master-level functional execution of advanced Creo modules, particularly Sheetmetal, Cast/Forging Design, Pro/Surface Advanced Surface generation, Adaptive Assembly Modelling, and Mechanism Design, is the PTC Creo Parametric Component Modelling Competency.

  PTC Windchill PLM Navigation & Revision Control: Hands-on confidence controlling workspace data files, handling check-in/check-out iterations, updating promotion pathways, and processing design changes.

  Manufacturing Process Constraint Comprehension: A strong engineering grasp of the limitations of tool construction for 5-axis CNC machining sequences, plastic moulding flow mechanics, or sheet metal forming.

  Drawing Release Milestone Tracking Spreadsheet, Feature Failure Ratios, and Component Weight Targets Literacy: Excellent at handling part matrix layouts in analytical spreadsheets, inserting mass property trends, and parsing intricate engineering BOM lines.
