  Who you are: 

  Create and maintain comprehensive Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) in accordance with international technical standards; design, scale, and validate manufacturing processes from lab/pilot scale to full commercial production. To minimise waste from raw materials, improve reaction/mixing kinetics, and increase total product yield, do thorough mass balance, stoichiometry, and thermal energy efficiency calculations throughout unit activities. Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor critical process parameters (CPP) and critical quality attributes (CQA); carry out Cpk/Ppk process capability studies to reduce process variance and remove line bottlenecks. To identify process hazards, create safety interlocks, and enforce environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance, lead and take part in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA). Use 8D and 5-Why methodologies to drive systematic troubleshooting for out-of-spec batches, process cycle time delays, and thermal/fluid flow instabilities; carry out Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new chemical and processing equipment.
