• Mold Setter Powering Efficient Injection Moulding

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  Mould Mounting & Tool Changeover Execution: Use torque wrenches or magnetic/hydraulic clamping systems to safely mount, align, and clamp moulds. Plan and carry out quick mould changes on plastic injection moulding machines in accordance with Single-Minute Exchange of Die standards.

  Utility Connections & Auxiliary Setup: Attach and check for leaks in mould cooling water lines, chillers, mould temperature control units, core pull hydraulics, pneumatic ejection systems and hot runner wire harnesses.

  Initial Machine Setup & Purging Support: Assist Process Engineers and Technicians with initial material purging, barrel heat-up, and trial shot sampling by setting up ejector strokes, mechanical safety stops, and mould protection settings.

  Tool Handling, Crane Rigging, and Safety Inspections: Move moulds between storage racks and machines using overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment safely. Conduct pre-setting inspections on mould faces, parting lines, guide pins, and water channels.

   

  Experience: 2 to 3 yrs

  Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
