  Job Description

  Who you are:  

  Record daily financial transactions, journal vouchers, purchase invoices, sales books, cash/bank entries in accounting software (Tally/SAP FI/Oracle). Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders (three-way matching), GRNs, and contract terms. Process payments and reconcile vendor books. Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR): generate customer invoices, track outstanding receivables, send payment reminders, and perform customer account reconciliations. Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), cash flow updates, and petty cash management registers. Compute, file, and reconcile statutory tax returns, including Goods and Services Tax (GST - GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities, preparing trial balances, balance sheet schedules, and profit & loss reconciliations. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary schedules, sample supporting documents and backup documents.
