  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Focus Skills:

  GMAW Equipment & Torch Control Mastery: To reliably deposit sound metal beads, a deep practical skill in managing torch angles, arc lengths, travel speeds, and weaving patterns is required.

  Blueprint Reading and AWS Welding Symbol Literacy: Accurately locate and size welds without supervision thanks to a strong grasp of structural blueprints and fabrication layouts.

  Industrial Metrology & Fit-up Tool Fluency: Skillful application of weld fillet gauges, framing squares, caliper rules, and clamping fixtures to confirm joint preparation parameters.

  Thermal Distortion Control Strategies: To reduce heat warp across thin or heavy metal plates, practical understanding of stitch welding, pre-heating, chill bars, and back-stepping procedures is required.
