  Job Description:

  The main "Milling Execution Anchor, Multi-Axis Setup Specialist, Surface Finish Engine & Precision Machining Quality Guardian" for our manufacturing plant operations is the VMC Machine Operator Vertical Machining Center Operations, Fixture Setup, Precision Milling & Quality Inspection Specialist. Your main responsibility is to set up, run, monitor, and maintain 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce high-precision metallic and non-metallic components in accordance with precise technical blueprints and CAD/CAM engineering specifications, while plant managers and head production engineers define overall machining schedules, cycle time targets, and high-level shop-floor strategies. As the "Guardian of Milling Precision, Dimensional Tolerances, Tool Path Integrity, and Shop-Floor Safety," you assume direct execution responsibility for converting plate stock, forgings, or raw castings into tight-tolerance, fully compliant final parts.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Proficiency in running and setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) using controllers from manufacturers like Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi.

  Blueprint Reading & Precision Measurement: The capacity to read technical engineering drawings, decipher orthographic views, comprehend geometric measurements and tight tolerances (micron-level), and operate Vernier callipers, micrometres, dial test indicators (DTI), and height gauges with assurance.

  G-Code/M-Code Program Execution & Offsets: Work offset setting, tool length/radius correction, feed rate overrides, spindle speed changes, block execution, and practical understanding of VMC program structures.

  Shop-floor safety and equipment maintenance include strict adherence to lock-out/tag-out regulations, machine guard safety procedures, personal protective equipment recommendations, and daily machine maintenance.
