Job Description :
Sr Production Operations Electronics Technician
Job Description
The main "Hands-On Electronic Systems Execution, PCB Repair, Sensor Calibration & Automation Troubleshooting Anchor" at all of our production facilities is the Electronics Technician Industrial Electronics, PCB Repair, Automation Instrumentation & Component Troubleshooting Specialist. Your main responsibility is to inspect, test, diagnose, calibrate, repair, and maintain low-voltage electronic circuits, printed circuit boards (PCBs), programmable logic controller (PLC) I/O modules, power supplies, sensors, variable frequency drive (VFD) control cards, and delicate electronic instrumentation. Electrical engineers oversee primary power distribution and control panel designs. As the "Guardian of Shop-Floor Electronics Reliability, Circuit Precision, Signal Integrity, and Zero Electronic Stoppages," you assume direct responsibility for the safe and efficient restoration of automated equipment systems and microelectronic controllers.
Responsibilities
Component-Level PCB Diagnosis & Micro-Soldering Repair: Trace electronic schematics, diagnose problematic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs), and execute precise surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering/desoldering repairs on control cards, power supplies, and HMI displays.
Automation Instrumentation & Sensor Calibration: Use common calibration instruments to calibrate, test, install, and modify industrial sensors (optical, inductive, and ultrasonic), encoders, temperature transmitters (RTD/Thermocouples), pressure transducers, and flowmeters.
PLC I/O, VFD Control & Drive Module Diagnostics: Diagnose low-voltage PLC I/O channels, industrial communication cables (RS485, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), HMI touchscreens, VFD control boards, encoder feedback loops, and servo drive cards.
Preventive Maintenance & ESD Safety Execution: Execute routine preventive maintenance on electronic control cabinets, clean cooling fans and heat sinks, inspect cable shielding, and strictly enforce Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling regulations and LOTO safety guidelines.
Skills:
Component-Level Electronic Repair & Soldering: Proficiency in schematic reading, PCB soldering and desoldering methods (SMD and through-hole), component-level circuit troubleshooting, and micro-component replacement (capacitors, diodes, MOSFETs, microcontrollers).
Digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, regulated DC power supply, LCR meters, and logic probes are examples of test equipment that can be used practically.
Strong knowledge of industrial sensors, loop calibrators, 4-20mA/0-10V analogue signals, encoder feedback systems, HMI hardware, and PLC field I/O connections is necessary for industrial automation and sensor instrumentation.
ESD Protection & Electronic Safety Protocols: Full adherence to low-voltage electrical safety, LOTO protocols for automated equipment, and ESD safety regulations (grounding wrist straps, anti-static mats).
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
