  Responsibilities:

  Strategic Quality Leadership & QMS Governance: As the principal management representative for customer and regulatory audits, establish, maintain, and constantly improve the plant's Quality Management System (QMS) in complete conformity with international standards.

  Customer Quality Management & Escalation Leadership: Use structured approaches (8D, 5-Why, Task Force leadership) to lead rapid-response teams for customer complaints, field failure returns, and warranty claims in order to prevent recurrence and regain client trust.

  Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) decrease & Continuous Improvement: Sponsor plant-wide Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing programs to identify, measure, and promote continuous decrease in plant COPQ, including internal scrap, rework, sorting expenses, and customer returns.

  Supplier Quality and New Product Quality Integration (NPI): Manage supplier quality frameworks, supervise supplier audits, and guarantee the quality of incoming raw materials; guarantee the successful implementation of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP approvals for the introduction of new products.

  Plant Metrology, Calibration, and Laboratory Management: To guarantee 100% measurement accuracy throughout plant operations, supervise the advanced metrology lab, coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programming, destructive and non-destructive testing functions, and gauge calibration systems.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Executive Quality Leadership & QMS Authority: Total control over the budgeting of the quality department, team building, customer relationship management, regulatory compliance, plant-wide quality strategy, and cross-functional conflict resolution under operational pressure.

  Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) are all deeply mastered.

  Quality Systems and Organised Problem Solving: competence with 5-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems, ISO/IATF QMS frameworks, and 8D problem-solving cycles.

  Lean Six Sigma with Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Accounting: strong capacity to manage DMAIC projects, optimise process capabilities, develop zero-defect manufacturing strategies, and measure and control the financial impact of quality failures.
