• Payment Posting Executive Payment Operations

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  ERA & EOB Processing: Post high-volume electronic remittance advices (835 ERA) and manual Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements across primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance payers.

  Payment Allocation & Adjustment Ledgering: Accurately post check payments, EFT/ACH deposits, credit card payments, and write-offs; record contractual adjustments, co-pays, deductibles, non-covered amounts, and patient balances.

  Reconciliation & Balancing: Conduct daily batch reconciliations matching posted payments and adjustments against bank deposit slips, merchant reports, and lockbox summaries to ensure 100% financial balancing.

  Variance & Denial Identification: Identify contractual underpayments, overpayments, duplicate payments, and claim denials during posting, assigning appropriate reason/remark codes (CARC/RARC) and routing non-payments to denial management teams.

  Financial Analytics & Batch Logging: Track daily batch totals, unapplied payment logs, unposted balance queues, and posting accuracy metrics using operational tracking spreadsheets and practice management tools

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
