  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  Carefully assemble and balance them for the designated machining route after interpreting part drawings to choose the best cutting inserts, toolholders, boring bars, and tool extensions. Using dial indicators to confirm part runout within tight bounds, set up and align sophisticated machine workholding systems, such as three-jaw chucks, hydraulic fixtures, indexing units, and unique modular jaw configurations. To modify feed rates, add block skips, improve tool path clearances, or optimize coolant delivery codes, load engineering program files into machine controllers and carefully examine code structures line by line. To rule out any chance of a structural tool or spindle collision, run the machine through its first trial sequence using single-block controls, feed overrides, and dry-run modes.
