  Production Engineer / CNC Machine Operator

  Location

  Oragadam, Chennai

  Qualification

  B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  Experience

  Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  Experience in CNC machining, production, or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
  Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Engineer

  Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities.
  Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
  Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for smooth operations.
  Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
  Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
  Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
  Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
  Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
  CNC Machine Operator

  Set up and operate CNC Turning, VMC, or CNC Milling machines.
  Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  Load raw materials and monitor machining operations.
  Perform in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Dial Gauges.
  Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
  Conduct routine machine maintenance and report machine issues promptly.
  Maintain housekeeping and follow safety guidelines in the work area.
  Required Skills

  Knowledge of CNC machining processes.
  Ability to read engineering drawings.
  Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  Basic understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
  Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
  Preferred Skills

  Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi CNC controls.
  Understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances.
  Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices.
  Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
