  Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation 

  Location: In And Around Chennai

   

  Your Duties:

  Set up CNC machines according to process sheets, engineering drawings, setup documents, and tool layouts.

  Mount, align, and secure work-holding devices (chucks, collets, jaws, fixtures, tailstocks, and steady rests).

  Load, set, and index cutting tools, inserts, holders, and boring bars into turrets or magazines; measure and input tool height and length offsets.

  Load G-code and M-code programs into CNC controllers, review code for sequence correctness, and perform dry runs and single-block executions.

  Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) on trial parts using precision measuring instruments (CMM, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators) to confirm component dimensions against technical drawings.

  Fine-tune cutting speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and coordinate offsets to optimize cycle times, surface finish, and tool life.

  Troubleshoot setup and dimensional issues during production handoffs, train operators on machine monitoring, and ensure compliance with shop safety policies and 5S standards.
