  Job Description:

  The Maintenance Supervisor in Manufacturing Industries is responsible for leading shift-level maintenance personnel, directing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, and overseeing emergency breakdown repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery. Working closely with production managers, plant engineering, tool room, and safety leads, this role ensures maximum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), minimizes unplanned equipment downtime, enforces strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and manages spare parts inventory on the shop floor.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Excellent teamwork, technical troubleshooting, and leadership abilities in both mechanical and electrical systems.

  extensive familiarity with industrial machinery parts, such as gearboxes, power transmission systems, hydraulic pumps, motor drives (VFDs), PLCs, and pneumatic circuits.

  practical knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems for planning preventative maintenance and tracking work orders.

  strong grasp of OEE optimisation, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts.

  demonstrated proficiency with electrical schematics, fluid power (hydraulic/pneumatic) diagrams, and mechanical assembly drawings
