• Maintenance Manager PLC & Control Systems

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Oversee overall plant maintenance operations, managing teams of maintenance engineers, supervisors, automation specialists, millwrights, and industrial electricians across all operational shifts.

  Develop, implement, and audit strategic Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) programs using advanced CMMS platforms.

  Direct plant utility operations and infrastructure management, including high-voltage power distribution, air compressors, steam boilers, HVAC systems, industrial chillers, and water treatment plants.

  Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for critical machine breakdowns, implementing engineering countermeasures to continuously improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and minimize MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).

  Manage department operating budgets (OpEx), spare parts inventory management, refurbishment cycles, and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects for machinery upgrades and new line installations.

  Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars, autonomous maintenance training, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and continuous equipment reliability enhancements across the plant.

  Ensure strict adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, statutory safety compliance, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, boiler safety regulations, and environmental standards

   

  Focus Skills:

  Proven track record in plant maintenance management, facilities management, and engineering leadership in high-volume manufacturing setups.

  Deep technical expertise in industrial automation, PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc), robotics, hydraulic/pneumatic power units, mechanical drive systems, and electrical power distribution.

  In-depth understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), condition monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis), and OEE optimization.

  Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/CMMS) software (SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix) and maintenance analytics for budget and downtime management.

  Strong strategic leadership, budget management, vendor relations, and cross-functional communication capabilities
