  Job Description

  Duties:

  Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Design, execute, and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and condition-based predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).

  Breakdown & Emergency Repair: Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC/automation faults on critical production machinery (CNC/VMC, presses, conveyors, utilities, compressors) to achieve low Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

  Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) & Reliability Engineering: Drive TPM initiatives, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM) pillars, and 5S protocols; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA / 5-Why) for chronic machine breakdowns to improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).

  Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of critical machinery spares, consumable parts, and specialized tooling; control maintenance costs while preventing stockout-induced downtime.

  Safety, EHS Compliance & Maintenance Analytics: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, machine safety guarding, and EHS norms; maintain equipment downtime logs, machine history cards, utility consumption sheets, and maintenance cost metrics using tracking spreadsheets

   

  Focus Skills:

  Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Maintenance Engineering.

  Experience: 0 to 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, or Equipment Reliability Specialist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  Technical Mastery: Mechanical systems, Electrical & Automation, TPM pillars, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), LOTO/EHS protocols, and Maintenance Tracking spreadsheets/CMMS
