  Responsibilities:

  Java Application & Microservices Development: Use the Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud frameworks to design, create, and implement enterprise-grade backend services and RESTful APIs.

  Database Integration & Data Persistence: Create and optimise relational database schemas, SQL queries, and indexing methods (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle); implement effective data access layers utilising Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Hibernate/JPA.

  API Design, Third-Party Integration, and Messaging: Use RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka to combine asynchronous event-driven messaging pipelines and create safe, well-documented REST APIs.

  Unit Testing & Code Quality Assurance: To guarantee strong code coverage and high system dependability, use JUnit and Mockito to build thorough unit/integration tests or practise test-driven development.

  System Performance Tuning & Debugging: Find performance bottlenecks, fix memory leaks, improve garbage collection, debug production flaws, and carry out thorough code inspections to enforce best practices.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Deep knowledge of both the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security) and Core Java (OOP principles, collections, multithreading, concurrency, streams, lambda expressions).

  Relational Database & ORM Proficiency: Practical knowledge of database design, SQL query optimisation, and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA) for engines such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

  API Architecture & Cloud Integration: Demonstrated proficiency in managing API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), developing RESTful microservices, and utilising cloud ecosystem tools (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).

  Mastery of DevOps and Build Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD build pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), version control systems (Git), and build automation tools (Maven, Gradle).
